Meet our Mental Health Therapists


Brianna R, Rivera, M.A., LMFT #77754
Brianna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Brianna has provided therapy services for 11 years in outpatient, residential, and school based settings. Prior to her work with SSUSD, Brianna worked in a teen outpatient substance abuse treatment program providing individual, family, and group therapy. Brianna also worked in a juvenile detention facility providing individual and group therapy for at risk youth. She has worked for SSUSD since 2013.

Brianna currently sees families, children, and teens as a school-based therapist. She works with students and families providing Educationally Related Mental Health Services through students' IEPs. Brianna addresses a variety of mental health issues and family relational issues as they relate to a student's education.

Brianna works under the umbrella of a family-systems based approach, and utilizes various modalities of treatment and theoretical approaches. Brianna believes there is always hope for healing and growth and her goal is to assist families in achieving healthy and fulfilling relationships. 


Julianne Marvin, APCC 6339

Julianne is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor being supervised by Lorraine Balek-Beeson LPCC 4057. Julianne has provided therapy services for one year in our school based setting. Prior to her work at SSUSD, Julianne worked for a non-profit offering mental health support to families in the Special Operations community utilizing the rugged outdoors of Montana to build family bonds and coping skills. Julianne has also worked for an in-school mental health service working with at risk youth in the Bozeman school district. Julianne has worked for SSUSD since 2017.


Julianne currently sees children and teens as a school-based therapist. She works with students on IEPs providing Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS). A qualifying student's mental health issues are addressed through services as they relate to the student's education. 


Julianne uses evidence based practices, utilizing treatment modalities to best meet the needs of her clients. Julianne’s passion is to help clients access and utilize tools within themselves to grow and learn.
