As part of our Local Control Accountability Plan, Sierra Sands USD funds three full-time secondary Student Support Center Teacher on Special Assignment (SSC TOSA). These education professionals support the implementation and sustainability of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS), Student Support Team (SST), student behavior reintegration plans, and disciplinary referrals. With a student-centered approach, these individuals strive to implement a network of supports so all students can experience belonging and success through public education.
